Santa Fe has long been one of the world’s most beloved cities for historic, multicultural visual and performing arts. Those in the know have always praised the city’s extraordinary literary treasures as well, but this is one rare area where Santa Fe has yet to receive proper due. Now, at last, this is ours to celebrate in full glory at the inaugural Santa Fe Literary Festival, which launches the weekend of May 20–23, 2022 at the downtown Santa Fe Convention Center and features world-renowned, bestselling authors, thinkers, chefs and more.
You’ll see and meet legendary authors including Margaret Atwood, Colson Whitehead, Sandra Cisneros, John Grisham,Jon Krakauer, the New Yorker’s Lawrence Wright, Game Of Thrones’ George R.R. Martin, New Mexico’s own Hampton Sides, U.S. Poet Laureate Joy Harjo, Anne Hillerman, Douglas Preston. Emily St. John Mandel, Bill DeBuys, Bryant Terry, Power Of The Dog author Don Winslow, Roshi Joan Halifax, N. Scott Momaday, and Craig Johnson. Many others will speak, read, and present at more than thirty different events at Santa Fe Community Convention Center and in area excursions and day trips.
The event is ticketed and with this awesome lineup, many events will sell out. New Mexico residents get $25 dollars off any individual event ticket!
